A PAIL OF WATER gathered from the Atlantic Ocean at the Picture Rock petroglyph site in Machiasport is carried to a ceremony at Bad Little Falls, Machias, by Josephine Mandamin of the Ojibway Tribe in Ontario (at right), walking with Joan Dana of the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Indian Township.
