Dennys River ambulance service closes due to lack of volunteers

The Dennys River Volunteer Ambulance Service will end its long run in November due to a continuing lack of volunteers, leaving many in the area with longer transport times in medical situations, extended pickup and transfer distances from area hospitals, and delays in immediate emergency care.
