A PEMBROKE BARN-RAISING. A new timber frame barn is being constructed by Will Lisak of Broad Brook Joinery of Vermont, with a crew of subcontractors, for Smithereen Farm. Timber framing was a traditional way of building in this region in the late 1700s and early 1800s. The 30’x50' barn will be used for housing cows, horses and sheep, along with hay.
