RUNNING AGROUND shortly after it experienced mechanical difficulties was the Grand Manan V, as it was docking at Blacks Harbour on May 18. All 100 passengers were safely taken off the vessel. The MV Grand Manan, which had been retired, is handling the run until the ferry is repaired, which is expected by mid-June.
