Downeast LNG eyes terminal in Robbinston

A proposal to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Robbinston brings to two the number of sites being considered in Washington County. On July 11, Downeast LNG announced its plans to build an LNG terminal at Mill Cove in Robbinston.

Tribe, developer hold conference on BIA approval

Quoddy Bay LLC and the Passamaquoddy tribal government at Pleasant Point announced on July 5 that they would hold a news conference on July 7 for a major announcement regarding the proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility at Pleasant Point.

Cooke deal nets Heritage as firm expands

Cooke Aquaculture Inc., an independent family-owned company in St. George, has purchased the Canadian east coast operations of Heritage Salmon from George Weston Limited as well as the U.S. operations of Heritage Salmon, subject to regulatory approval.

Cooke plans Acquisition of Stolt Sea Farm

A family-owned company in St. George will soon become the largest salmon farmer on the east coast of Canada and the U.S., with the signing of a letter of intent for Cooke Aquaculture Inc. to acquire Stolt Sea Farm's east coast farming and processing assets.
